In July 2023, we proudly donated $10,000 to the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home. This significant contribution came from our amazing customers and team members during our May 2023 round-up campaign at all four store locations. We are immensely grateful for this partnership and remain deeply committed to supporting and assisting the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home. Together, we aim to positively impact the lives of our cherished veterans and create a brighter future for those who have bravely served our nation.
In July 2023, on National Hot Dog Day, we enthusiastically fired up the grills at all four locations for a special fundraiser. The result was fantastic – we raised $2,000 to support low-income family school lunches in Calvert County and St. Mary’s County. Together, we filled tummies and made a profoundly positive impact in our community.
In August 2023, we enthusiastically joined Ace Hardware’s CMN Bucket Event and had a blast! Our creative teams at each store crafted eye-catching displays using iconic buckets. We actively pledged $5.00 per bucket displayed, resulting in a $20,000 donation to support Children’s National in DC. Together, we made a profound impact on the lives of children and families in need.
During October & November 2023, our store hosted an engaging Ladies Night, offering a generous 20% discount on most items. This cherished annual tradition aims to foster a welcoming environment for women in our hardware store. This year, we added a nostalgic twist, themed around the vibrant 80s and 90s era.
